The 76-year-old is gearing up to lead Liverpool in a Legends clash with Ajax at Anfield on Saturday but before then, the former manager was shown a heart-warming video of his former charges, including Gary Neville, Joe Cole and Michael Owen, sending him touching messages of support.

The former England manager was brought to tears by some of his ex-players' kind words.
Sven, who has been a Liverpool fan for many years after his father encouraged him to support them, will go down as one of the great managers of his generation. He won silverware with Benfica, Roma, Lazio, and managed more than a dozen clubs in a glittering career, while also guiding England to three successive quarter-finals, in the 2002 and 2006 World Cups, and the 2004 European Championships.
On Saturday, Sven will join a dugout of Liverpool greats such as Ian Rush, John Barnes and John Aldridge for the annual LFC Foundation charity match. Some of the Reds' players for the Ajax match include Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Jerzy Dudek, Dirk Kuyt, Jari Litmanen and more.
